Komla currently holds a Master of Science in Economics degree from the University of The West Indies, St Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago. Research. He believes that it is critical to unearthing numerous problems confronting our society, as well as developing possible and plausible solutions for the betterment of all. It is on this basis that he has committed the major portion of his working life to the research field. His research experience spans from academic research to market research and social research. Komla’s strengths are in data analyses with software like STATA, Eviews, Excel; policy analyses and writing reviews.

In academic research he has worked on varied projects like cost-benefit analysis of electric and electronic waste recycling in Ghana, impacts of the Dutch Disease on Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago, determinants of bank sectoral credit allocation in Ghana, the impact of the EU-CARIFORUM EPA on the welfare of St. Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda. His current publication is on “Remittances, Education and Health in Sub-Saharan Africa.” In addition, he has co-worked with some undergraduate and postgraduate students on their thesis. In social and market research. He has worked on projects like Ghana Community Upgrading Project, Ghana Early Grade Reading Impact Evaluation (USAID/Ghana); and on products like lubricants, rice, biscuit, telecommunication network assessment, and telecommunication network pricing. He has had the opportunity to further work with international research companies like Ivy League Consultants (ILC) – Africa, and Infomineo.
